[RepliKate] Copy of Kate’s lace teal Jenny Packham dress

I’m going to share one of my favourite ‘RepliKates’ with you today, it’s the perfect copy/alternative to the teal Jenny Packham dress worn by Kate to the London Olympic Games Gala back in 2012:

Kate Middleton Teal Lace Dress Copy

The ‘RepliKate’ dress is a more green than teal, but the lace detailing on the bust is so similar to the original, worn by the Duchess.  The back also features some mesh and lace detailing: a nice touch.

The emerald green dress is the ‘Alex Evenings Pleated Lace & Mesh Gown‘, it is available in regular and petite lengths in a range of sizes at Nordstrom.com. It retails for $178.00.

It’s a beautiful piece that would look so elegant for a formal evening, or it’d make an adorable bridesmaid dress if you’re getting married this winter (especially if the original Jenny Packham dress – as with many of us – is totally out of budget.)

Just an FYI (sorry for posting this on facebook and here), I bought this dress after seeing it on your blog (your blog is awesome btw) because I was obsessed with Kate’s Jenny Packham dress. I got it in the mail yesterday and it is much more green in person. It almost looks like an emerald green. Still a pretty dress, but not the color I was hoping for Just thought I’d let anyone else know before purchasing!

Thanks for the heads up Caroline. I did want to make it clear in the description that the dress is EMERALD not TEAL – as when you look at the pictures, the colours are kind of close on the screen, but they’re not the same – it doesn’t hurt to reiterate a couple of times!!

Do you like the dress, will you be keeping it? (and if so, feel free to send us some pictures on our FaceBook page if you like!)

      Carly.

I really liked the dress, but (1) it was too big and (2) I just didn’t care for the color. I guess I was too fixated on the teal like Kate’s. Its definitely a beautiful dress though for anyone that loves green! Thanks for the tips. I love seeing all the replikates on your blog. Keep up the good work!
