It has been MONTHS since I wrote a blog post showcasing pieces I’ve found on the high street that remind me of Kate’s outfits. So, I’m happy to announce the return of my “inspired by” posts and today I’m looking at her L.K. Bennett “Jude” pelum jacket and teal “Davina” dress that she wore to Leicester last week.
The dress and matching jacket quickly sold out online, but on my hunt for some great “repli-Kates”, I found these great peplum dresses in Dorothy Perkins – they just screamed “Kate” at me!
Why not try one of these gorgeous alternatives instead?
I know they’re not exact matches (well, they’re dresses, not jackets!), and I know they’re not teal, but I hope you’ll agree they’re very “Kate”. They’re both from Dorothy Perkins and both cost an absolute bargain at £28 each. You can see why I just *had* to blog them, right?
How to wear:
Style yours with black accessories (like Kate did) for a formal occasion, such as a wedding. Perhaps add a small fascinator for that 1940s look, as achieved by Kate! Or, pair with either lipstick red or mustard yellow heels for a glamorous, fun and sophisticated feel!
