Kate wore a blue lace Erdem dress on day one of the Royal Tour of Canada, for her arrival into Ottawa.
The dress was an immediate hit for Kate in the fashion stakes, as Erdem is a Canadian label. Additionally, the dress is very fashionable (lace is big at the moment!) and with it’s three quarter length sleeves, scoop neckline and knee skimming length, Kate manages to pull off stylist, elegant and demure all at once!

Just wanted to let you know the purple Ralph Lauren Black Label cashmere sweater that Kate was wearing yesterday will be available for 300 GBP on net-a-porter in the morning.
I’m not very sure about this replica dress; something is not quite right…I love Kate’s but not the copy. I guess the scallop edge makes difference too.
I did find a little navy lace top from H&M new arrival very impressive. It’s not the same as a dress but has the spirit. Check it out.

I was browsing through Dillards website and they have a ‘royalty inspired’ lace dress available for pre-order, not available until December. Its pretty, but a little expensive though at $158. Im not familiar with the brand either.

P.S. I went back to Dillards site and searched ‘royalty’ and other Kate inspired dresses came up. They are a little exspensive, but very pretty. They carry CopyKates of the wedding gown, Pippa’s bridesmaid dress in two colors, the white engagement dress, the blue lace dress from the Canadian tour, and the pale purple Bafta dress from the L.A. trip.
Ive just bought this lace dress and want to point out that its covered in glitter! Ok if you like that but in my opinion it looks tacky and nothing like Kate’s dress. I have also complained to boohoo.com as it doesnt mention the glitter in their detail of the dress.

Yes mine came today! and after i suggested this dress to you it is a very big let down! when i got it out of the bag i couldn’t believe my eyes!! the fabric is horrible and very tacky looking especially with the glitter!!
I also ordered the shola look-a-like which was even worse!!
I cant believe they charge a £2 re-stocking fee if you order from the UK when their products are this bad!! I won’t be ordering from Boohoo anytime soon!!
ah…that was exactly how I felt when looking at the picture of the copy cat dress…tacky and somewhat cheap looking. Lace is everywhere but it’s very hard to find a well made and classic looking one.
Continue with the quest. I still recommend the HM navy lace top. It’s not a dress but I feel like a princess in it pairing with a pencil skirt and classic pumps.
